Lincoln High School wins final 'School of the Month Award'

The final "School of the Month Award" for the 2014 school year goes to Lincoln High School.
Mayor Mike Spano presented the award yesterday to school officials. The school was honored for several accomplishments, including its horticulture program. The school's choir was also recognized for winning a gold medal at a competition in Nashville.
School officials were justifiably proud of the accomplishments. "The students worked very hard on various projects throughout the year. Their hard work has paid off and to be recognized by the mayor is a true honor for them, myself and my staff," says Principal Ian Sherman.
The "School of the Month Award" started in January.
