Rockland County issues West Nile virus alert
Rockland County officials have issued a health alert because of the West Nile virus.
Health officials have confirmed the first group of mosquitoes this year to test positive for the potentially deadly disease.
The mosquitoes were found in Clarkstown last week.
The county health department is reminding residents of the basics, including using bug spray and removing stagnant water.
