A leaky roof at Ramapo High School will be fixed over the summer, officials say.
State Sen. David Carlucci secured funding for the cash-strapped district, which has come under fire for poor conditions in the schools.
"This is really an emergency," said Carlucci. "They had leaky roofs, the threat of mold developing and this is a situation that needed to be rectified as soon as possible."
The roof repairs should be complete before school starts in the fall.
