Police: Arrest made in Mount Vernon murder

An arrest has been made in a murder that shocked Mount Vernon five years ago.

Police say Rahsi McClean, 26, of Mount Vernon, was arraigned yesterday in the 2011 murder of Gloria Nartey. They say McLean was a gang member who was shooting at a rival gang member on South 12th Street, but hit Nartey instead.

Nartey, 27, was a scientist at PepsiCo when she was killed.

McLean has been charged with second-degree murder.
