Yorktown street reopens after water main break

Greenwood Street has reopened following a water main break in Yorktown early Monday morning.

Water Department officials say the break was discovered around 3 a.m. The gushing water collapsed the pavement and created a large hole that was the width of the road.

Water has been restored to all homes, but some people reported discolored water.

Officials say there is no boil water advisory in effect.
