Rockland great-grandmother celebrates 102nd birthday
A Rockland great-grandmother celebrated her 102nd birthday on Thursday.
Corinne Semiara, of West Haverstraw, celebrated her birthday at Sparky's Diner in Garnerville. The diner is also celebrating its 40th anniversary.
Born in 1914, Semiara moved to Rockland in 1932.
She was married to former West Haverstraw Mayor Frank Seminara, who passed away a few years ago.
The retired nurse has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
