Beloved scoutmaster laid to rest

A final farewell was said today to a longtime, beloved Boy Scout master in Orange County.
Scouts in Greenwood Lake stood in salute this morning as Walter Andrews' casket was carried into Holy Rosary Church.
Andrews passed away Friday after a longtime battle with Mesothelioma.
The 68-year-old was an Airforce Vietnam veteran and led the troop for 18 years. "He was at times like a second father to me. He really helped me become the man I am today and guide me through the part of my life I was in. He meant a lot to me and the troop," says Vincent Carney, of Greenwood Lake.
Andrews leaves behind his wife, their two children and a granddaughter.
