Cold-blooded creatures pack New York Reptile Expo at Westchester County Center in White Plains
Cold-blooded creatures crawled all over the Westchester County Center in White Plains Sunday for the annual New York Reptile Expo.
The center was packed with iguanas, turtles, snakes and spiders, all ready to be taken home by reptile enthusiasts who say they love having them as pets.
Vendor Lenny Cristino says his bearded iguanas act just like cats and dogs.
"They walk around eating cat food and dog food, it's fun," he says.
Some snakes at the event were selling for a few hundred dollars, while rare snakes were priced at $35,000.
The expo will return to the center on April 17.
