A pair of water mains broke in Yorktown along Route 202 near Baldwin Road Monday morning.
Officials say about two dozen homes and five buildings, including one used by the Yorktown Police Department, were left without water.
The breaks happened around 7:30 a.m.
Route 202 has since reopened.
