Massive snowstorm prompts Cuomo to declare emergency
(AP) - Gov. Andrew Cuomo has declared a state of emergency as a massive storm blankets New York with up to 2 feet of snow.
Cuomo says New Yorkers should stay inside Saturday and avoid driving.
Cuomo says the National Guard is ready to help if coastal flooding becomes a problem.
Cuomo announced the state of emergency in several TV appearances Saturday morning and planned a briefing at his Manhattan office.
