A van driver escaped uninjured when the vehicle caught fire in Monroe.
According to Monroe Fire Chief Dan Bennett, the driver was leaving a construction site Sunday morning when the vehicle's engine caught fire.
The fire then quickly engulfed the van.
The vehicle was destroyed as a result of the fire.
