DPW crews prepare for snow

DPW workers across the Hudson Valley prepared for a dose of winter weather Tuesday.



Crews loaded salt into trucks to pretreat the roadways ahead of Tuesday evening's commute.



In Yorktown, highway officials say it took four hours to salt the entire town.



Yorktown Highway Superintendent Dave Paganelli says that even a half-inch of snow causes the town to go through around 500 tons of salt.
