Officials are trying to determine the cause of a house fire in Sleepy Hollow.

The fire started in an attic at a home located at 41 Hudson Terrace.

Officials say the homeowner was in the house at the time of the fire, but was able to get out safely.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, they say there was heavy fire in the attic. They were able to put the fire out before it spread to any other part of the home.
