Apartments razed in Newburgh fire, 40 displaced
An apartment fire in Newburgh has left nearly 40 people displaced.
The blaze ripped through the apartments on Second Street, gutting homes and destroying personal property.
Many tenants spent the afternoon attempting to salvage belongings. Fire officials believe the cause of the fire was accidental.
The Red Cross is helping affected families.
