A total of 12 officials were sworn into office during Ossining's Inauguration Day Friday.

Among the elected officials were Kevin Sylvester, the town and village's new police chief. The 35-year-old Ossining native is taking over for Chief Joseph Burton, who retired after 48 years with the department.
