Boil water advisory in effect after W. Nyack main break

A boil water advisory remains in effect for dozens of West Nyack residents following a water main break Sunday.

Officials say the 16-inch water main broke around 2:30 a.m. in a shopping center parking lot off Route 303. The cause of the break is still unknown.

Approximately 80 to 100 residents are affected.

The boil water advisory will remain in place for the next few days, officials say.
