Police say they've arrested a 24-year-old suspect in Sunday's fatal shooting in Peekskill.
Janeil Myke is accused in the killing of 22-year-old Stephen Agosto on the 1400 block of Park Street.
Parole officers say they were in the area on Sunday when they heard several gunshots and raced to the neighborhood. They found Agosto bleeding on the ground.
He was pronounced dead at New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital
Agosto's mother says he was arguing with someone on the phone moments before he was killed.
Police say Myke was arrested on Rolling Way after a brief footchase.
Myke is being held without bail following his arraignment in Peekskill Court Wednesday morning.
