Puppies enjoy holidays too

Furry friends are gearing up for Christmas.

Mrs. Claus and some elves took time out from their busy season to pose with some good little doggies at the "Paws and Play" Pet Resort and Training Center in Westchester yesterday.

The pups posed for the holiday pictures to benefit "Pawly's Wishing Tree" in Tuckahoe. "Everybody likes pets as a special part of the holiday season, just like their families. Families are four-legged or two-legged, so our four-legged children have the pleasure of the holiday season, as well," says Susan "Mrs. Claus" Stewart.

All the dogs are up for adoption and interested owners can contact the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter.
