A Monsey rabbi will spend more than three years in prison for torturing Jewish men into granting their wives a "get" or religious divorce.
A federal judge has sentenced Martin Wolmark to 38 months behind bars. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to travel to commit extortion in January.
Wolmark was caught on tape in August 2013 talking to a woman and her brother about obtaining a "get" from the woman's husband.
That woman and her brother were undercover FBI agents.
