1 dead in wrong-way crash in Bedford Hills

One person is dead following a wrong-way crash in Bedford Hills.



State police say the crash occurred around 6 a.m. Sunday.



They say a wrong-way driver collided with another car in southbound traffic on I-684 just south of Exit 6.



One person was killed in the crash and two people were sent to Westchester Medical Center with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.



After more than four hours, police reopened the section of the highway after temporarily diverting southbound traffic onto the Saw Mill River Parkway.
