An elderly Cortlandt Manor man will spend the next three-and-a-half years in prison for shooting his wife.
Mario Vallorosi, 78, has pleaded guilty to attempted assault in the 2013 shooting of his 74-year-old wife, Genevieve
Police say it followed an argument in the couple's home in Cortlandt Manor.
His wife has since recovered from her wounds.
