Remains from Titicus Reservoir ID’d as South Salem couple

Remains recovered from the Titicus Reservoir in North Salem have been identified as those of a South Salem couple.



According to the Westchester Medical Examiner, Val and Taew Horsa were on board their single-engine plane when it crashed into the reservoir two weeks ago.



The couple was returning from a trip to Mississippi.



While approaching Danbury airport, the plane disappeared in poor weather.



The investigation into the cause of the crash could take up to a year to complete
