3 rival high school football teams meet in brawl

Dozens of students from rival high school football teams brawled at the Rose Hills Memorial Park on Mill Street in Putnam Valley Saturday night, according to police.

Dozens of students from Putnam Valley, Hendrick Hudson and Mahopac high schools met for the planned fight at 10 p.m., according to investigators.

At least one person suffered serious injuries, police say. He was taken to Westchester Medical Center.

A representative for Rose Hills says it has no comment on the weekend violence, but officials are cooperating with the police investigation.

State police say there have been no arrests so far, but the investigation is ongoing.
