Armed assailants robbed a cab driver on Saint Mark's Place near McLean Avenue in Yonkers early Tuesday morning, the victim says.
Quaiser Zaidi, the driver, says he feared for his life as he was punched and robbed while being held at gunpoint by two men before 3:30 a.m.
The men stole cellphones and cash, Zaidi says.
They finally left the scene as a trucker pulled up nearby, according to Zaidi.
Area residents say there have been other early morning robbers around McLean Avenue this summer.
