Rosie O'Donnell's daughter found safe

Comedian Rosie O'Donnell took to Twitter Tuesday to announce that her 17-year-old daughter Chelsea, who was missing for a week, had been found safe.

O'Donnell said her daughter is in police custody.

Officials said her daughter was found on the Jersey Shore.

O'Donnell's daughter left the house with her 6-month-old therapy dog last Tuesday.

Police had stressed that they didn't believe Chelsea was in danger because she did communicate with her family through a third party.

She is reportedly on her way back to see her mother.
