1 displaced after Suffern apartment building fire

A fire at a Suffern apartment building has left one person without a home.

The blaze began Wednesday afternoon on Woodland Drive where firefighters found heavy smoke in a basement apartment. The fire was confined to a storage closet in the basement.

Fire crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to the building's other four apartments.

The fire appears to be accidental, according to officials. There were no injuries.
