Teens graduate from leadership program in Greenburgh
A group of youngsters in Greenburgh is getting a head start to making a difference in their community.
About 80 middle school and high school children graduated on Friday from the Greenburgh Summer Leadership Training Project. The ceremony was held at St. Paul's Methodist Church in Hartsdale.
During the five-week course, the graduates learned skills to face real-life challenges.
The leadership project is sponsored by The Center for Human Options, an organization dedicated to helping adolescents from different communities.
