A driver slammed into a telephone pole in New Rochelle this morning.
Police say the accident happened around 12:30 a.m. today on Barnard Road.
Witnesses tell News 12 the driver of the vehicle fell asleep behind the wheel and lost control.
Con Ed crews were on the scene quickly to replace the pole, which was split in half. No power was lost in the neighborhood.
