Couple escapes after SUV plunges into creek

A couple managed to escape after their SUV plunged into a creek in New Rochelle Saturday night.

Crews pulled the vehicle out of the Ferris Creek.

The driver says he thought he put the vehicle in reverse, when the vehicle went forward into the water.

He and his passenger in the SUV were not injured.

Police say it took nearly four hours for emergency crews to pull the vehicle from the water.
