3rd teen dies after driver's ed crash in Warwick
A third teenager has died after the fatal driver's education crash last Tuesday in Warwick.
Lucas O'Connor, 16, was critically injured in the crash with a tractor-trailer at County Road 1 and Blooms Corners Road. He died at Westchester Medical Center, News 12 was told Sunday.
Wake services for O'Connor will be held in Washingtonville this Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a wake was held Sunday at Donovan Funeral Home in Goshen for another teen who died in the crash, 16-year-old Paul Van Doran.
Assistant superintendent Kurtis Kotes describes Van Doran as a fun-loving, technically oriented student. Friends and family say he was active in karate, and took an interest in computers and working with the stage crew.
A funeral for Van Doran will be held Monday at the First Presbyterian Church of Goshen.
A wake for another victim, 16-year-old Antonio Baglivo, was held Saturday, also at Donovan Funeral Home. A second wake was for him was held Sunday in Brooklyn.
All of the teens involved in the crash were students of Goshen Central High School.
