Sarah Lawrence College has decided to ban the use of cigarettes on campus grounds.
The director of medical services at the Health and Wellness Center says the college developed a task force that took on smoking and its effects.
Studies showed it was best to eliminate smoking on campus completely.
The ban will go into effect on Aug. 1.
