Police rescue injured hiker in Cortlandt
A hiker was rescued Sunday morning near the Bear Mountain Bridge in Cortlandt.
The hiker fell between 20 and 30 feet on a section called Anthony's Nose.
First responders reached the hiker with the help of a police helicopter.
The victim was then hoisted up to emergency personnel and flown to another helicopter awaiting on the park helipad.
He was then transported to the Westchester Medical Center
The unidentified victim, who injured his back and neck, will remain overnight at the hospital for observation.
