Parents hope Cuomo can provide funds for Yonkers public schools

Hope is still alive that the state will deliver a lifeline for Yonkers public schools.

Students, parents and teachers drummed up support on busy Central Park Avenue Wednesday, chanting "Save Our Schools" and "We Deserve Better."

If the money is not found, it means cutting all sports programs, music, art and special education services.

Parents remain optimistic that Gov. Andrew Cuomo will be able to provide the money needed for their kids.
