Officials say the suspect, identified as Nino Valvano of Mount Kisco, was being questioned by an officer outside of Lola's Restaurant at around 4 a.m.

Police say that's when Valvano struck and dragged the officer for about 100 feet on East Post Road.

After dragging the officer, police chased Valvano onto I-287, where he was stopped and arrested.
