A crane operator is lucky to be alive after the equipment he was operating toppled over this weekend.
First responders say the accident happened on 13 Monsey Boulevard in Monsey.
The crane operator told police the arm of the machine became stuck in the upright position, causing it to fall over.
The operator suffered injuries to his wrist, face and rib area and is expected to be OK.
