Knife-wielding man in wolf mask robs Spring Valley salon

There is new surveillance video of the masked robber who held up Kelly's Unisex Salon at knifepoint on Wednesday.

Emilia Monciyo was in the Spring Valley salon with her young daughter when the man wearing a wolf mask barged in and took out a knife, demanding money.

Monciyo handed him $200 that he put in his bag before running away.

"I'm nervous. I'm nervous all the time. If I see someone dressed like the man. I'm nervous. Maybe he will come back," she said.

The thief is still on the run and officials say the video will help track him down.

Police say the man in the video has a medium build, and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black boots at the time of the robbery. They ask anyone with information to call the Spring Valley Police at 845-356-7400.
