Hundreds attend funeral for 6-year-old Croton girl
Loved ones gathered Friday to say goodbye to a 6-year-old girl who passed away on Easter Sunday.
As News 12 previously reported, Lacey Carr was found unresponsive in her bed at her grandfather's home on Hastings Avenue. Her mother, Kathleen Dymes, 51, was unconscious on the floor next to the bed.
They were both rushed to Phelps Memorial Hospital, where Lacey was pronounced dead. Dymes is still in critical condition, and she hasn't yet talked to police about what happened.
So far, police have been tight-lipped about their investigation and have not yet revealed what killed the girl.
A funeral Mass for Lacey was held this morning at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton.
Lacey will be buried at Bethel Cemetery.
