Fathers from across New York state attended a parenting conference Tuesday in White Plains.

The all-day fatherhood conference was held at the Westchester County Center. The program offered 350 fathers the chance to take part in workshops and panels. It also provided information on a wide variety of social services.

The conference was organized by County Executive Rob Astorino.

Astorino says that Tuesday's program is only the start. Astorino says he is rolling out a public information campaign in the next few months, complete with bus signs and billboards.
