Demolition is scheduled to begin Thursday at the former state police Troop T barracks in Tarrytown.
The empty building on 333 South Broadway is attached to an old maintenance building for the Tappan Zee Bridge. The structures are being torn down to make room for the new bridge.
A temporary location has been set up in West Nyack until a new building in Tarrytown is built in 2018.
The right lane of South Broadway will be closed between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday while the work goes on.
