Students honored for robotic championship

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano today honored Saunders High School students for becoming regional robotics champions. The team took first place at a regional competition for their robot named Leonard Nimoy.

Students honored for robotic championship
Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano today honored Saunders High School students for becoming regional robotics champions.
The team took first place at a regional competition for their robot named Leonard Nimoy.
The students developers, who call themselves the Saunders Droid Factory, are now headed to St. Louis for the world championships.
The trip to Missouri next month is being funded by donations from the Yonkers IDA, the Generoso Pope Foundation and Con Edison.
