Mudslide victims still out of homes
More than 100 seniors affected by a massive mudslide in Yonkers will have to wait longer before they can return to their apartments.
A total of 109 people were evacuated from the apartment building at 95-97 Walsh Road nearly two weeks ago. There are 65 residents staying at the hotel, while the others are with family.
Plans to return home were pushed back from Friday to next Monday.
Engineers tested soil samples Monday. They hope to find a solution this week to repair the damage from the mudslide.
