Fire burns home in Yonkers

A fire that burned a Yonkers apartment might be accidental.

Fire officials say more than 40 firefighters responded to a call at a house on Maple Street yesterday.

Fire crews say they were able to keep flames from spreading beyond the third-floor apartment. At this time, investigators do not think the fire was suspicious, but are still looking for a cause.

Everyone in the building got out safely.
