A Mount Vernon man is facing charges in two local business robberies.
Police say Carl Spasoff, 48, broke into the Romantic Depot in Elmsford and stole the cash register last week.
They say a few hours later, Spasoff smashed the glass front door of the Scarsdale Wines Store and stole another cash register.
Spasoff is being held in the Westchester County jail.
