As the snow begins to melt in the area, drivers are facing a new problem: potholes.
News 12 went on pothole patrol and found several on Elm Street in Yonkers and on Devonnia Road in Mount Vernon.
Yonkers DPW says they have filled more than 300 potholes in just two days, but they are having a difficult time keeping up.
In New Rochelle, one viewer said they feared potholes on Garden Street near I-95 would ruin their car.
"I feel bad for the people with new cars," said driver Michele Gargiulo. "They hit potholes and boom you have a flat tire."
