New program offers hope to foreclosure victims
A new program has been announced that hopes to help people in foreclosure obtain a permanent loan modification.
It will be available to residents of Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties who currently have loans in default with Bank of America. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with a loan specialist for one hour in White Plains and discuss plans to secure a loan modification.
This free event will run from June 21-23 by appointment only. In order to qualify, appointments must be scheduled no later than June 14.
