Back to normal at Port Chester PD after gas leak

Regular operations resumed at the Port Chester Police Department last night after workers ruptured a gas main there yesterday morning.

Crews were trying to clean up an old gasoline spill behind the building at 350 N. Main St. when they ruptured a natural gas main.

The village court had to be closed, and all of the offices were cleared out. Officers transporting prisoners from the jail to the county court were ordered to turn around.
