4 teens arrested in Tuckahoe carnival brawl

Four teenagers were arrested over the weekend in Tuckahoe following a brawl at the Immaculate Conception School's annual carnival.

Police say the fight involved 60 teenagers and broke out at 10:15 p.m. on White Plains Road Friday. It later spilled out onto Main Street. Three people sustained minor injuries, including an officer.

Authorities believe the fight started after several teens had exchanged Facebook and text messages. Police say the fight may have been gang-related.

The four teenagers who were taken into custody were charged with first-degree rioting. They are due back in court June 15.

The carnival resumed with increased police presence and ended early the next day.
