Entergy maintenance worker pulled from water ID'd

Grief counselors were available for employees at the Indian Point nuclear facility this week after a diver contracted to perform maintenance on a discharge canal there was pulled from the Hudson River and later died.

Lloyd Baeare, 45, of New Jersey was pulled from the waters just after 9 a.m. after communication between him and an above-ground worker were lost.

Entergy officials say that Baeare was pulled from the water with his oxygen supply in tact, and that there did not appear to be any signs of equipment malfunction.

Baeare was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
