Cops: Armed men tie-up, rob man while baby home

Police are searching for four armed men who they say stormed into a Buchanan home last night, tying him up and robbing a homeowner while his infant child was in the other room.

Cops say one of the suspects was armed with a handgun, and another with a shotgun when they burst into the Tate Avenue home just after 8 p.m.

The thieves tied up the man who was home with his 3-month-old daughter, but no one was injured.

Neighbors say the neighborhood is typically quiet and were shocked to hear about such a violent crime in the area.

Police are now investigating exactly why the family was targeted. There have been no arrests.
