Police: Buchanan homeowner targeted by robbers

A suspect accused of tying up and robbing a man while an infant child was in the other room is still at large after police arrested three other men in connection to the crime.

Police believe Scott Briscoe, 29, is the fourth suspect involved in the armed home invasion robbery. Briscoe is accused of using a shotgun and a handgun to threaten a young father and his 3-month-old child in their apartment at 220 Tate Ave. earlier this week.

According to police, Briscoe and the other three suspects are all from the Shinnacock section of Somers. Investigators say that the victim knew at least one of the suspects, and that the crime was not a random act.
